Favorite Recipes of Maverick Swaniel Harrienger

{January 9, 2016}   Spiked Iced Chicory Coffee (Brunch @ Bobby’s, 2015, page 16)

Serves four people.

4 cups brewed chicory coffee, cooled
0.25 cup half-and-half
6 tablespoons coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
0.25 cup Simple Syrup (recipe on the next post)

1.  Pour 2 cups of coffee into an ice cube tray and freeze for at least 2 hours and up to overnight.
2.  Combine the remaining 2 cups of coffee, the half-and-half, liqueur, simple syrup, and the coffee ice cubes in a blender until smooth.  Pour into tall glasses.
