{January 9, 2016}   Simple Syrup (Brunch @ Bobby’s, 2015, page 16)

Makes 1 cup.

Ingredient:  1 cup sugar

Directions:
Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.  Cook for 2 minutes.  Remove from the heat and let the syrup cool.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to one month.
