{July 20, 2013}   Spinach Dip (The New AHA Cookbook: 25th Anniversary Edition [2001])

10 ounce package frozen no salt added chopped spinach
5 coarsely chopped green onions
.5 cup watercress or arugula
.25 cup fresh parsley
8 ouncee plain nonfat or low fat yogurt
1 peeled and chopped medium avocado
1.25 teaspoons salt free garlic seasoning
.125 teaspoon pepper
.125 teaspoon salt
.125 teaspoon hot sauce

Cook spinach according to pkg directions.  Drain, squeeze out all liquid.
Finely chop spinach, onions, watercress/arugula, and parsley in food processor; process just until blended.  Transfer to colander to drain excess liquid.
Puree remaining ingredients in processor or blender.
In medium bowl, combine 2 mixes, stirring well.  Cover and refrigerate 1 h to allow flavors to blend.
